How Blak Magik Will Help Communities Create Jobs

1. Local Manufacturing and Assembly

Our turbine component manufacturing and assembly can be decentralised and established in regional or Indigenous communities. 

The WOOSH turbine design and manufacturing process allows for modular parts permitting local fabrication workshops to participate in the supply chain (e.g., blade shaping, mounting structures, skids, housings). This creates jobs in recycled plastics and additive manufacturing, metalwork, machining, welding, and electronics.

2. Training and Upskilling Programs

Blak Magik will partner with TAFEs, RTOs, and other education centres to deliver:

  • Pre-apprenticeship programs in renewable energy technologies
  • Training in electrical installation, wind energy systems, and turbine maintenance
  • Certification pathways for long-term employment in the clean energy sector
3. Community-Owned Energy Projects

Blak Magik will support communities including Indigenous communities to co-own and manage renewable energy installations. This creates long-term jobs in:

4. Employment in Installation and Maintenance

Vertical turbines are easy to install and service, reducing technical barriers for local workers. Blak Magik can train and employ workers as installation technicians, electricians, mechanical fitters, and safety officers.

  • Cultural heritage monitors to ensure installations respect Country
